Brittany Biggs is an animation professional, filmmaker, artist, and designer. Her animation feature film screen credits include DreamWorks’ Trolls, Kung Fu Panda 3, Turbo, and Kung Fu Panda 2. In addition to working as a Previs / Rough Layout artist and Animation TA, she also has experience working within production management in the animation industry. Her own short animated films have been recognized in international film festivals including Annecy International Animation Film Festival, and her graduate thesis film, A Tall Tale, won Best Animated Short in the 2011 Los Angeles Women’s International Film Festival.
Brittany’s personal artwork includes intricately cut paper pieces, digital art, and greeting cards. Her paper cut pieces have been exhibited in galleries, including FishEye Kauai, Bright Side Gallery (Kauai), Gallery Nucleus (Los Angeles), and Center Stage Gallery (Los Angeles). Several of her paper cut pieces were included in DreamWorks Animation’s charity auctions that raised money for Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. In 2017, she co-founded Seascape Life LLC, a sea-inspired, outdoor apparel company, where she is responsible for creating the designs.
Brittany joined the Academy for Creative Media at UH Mānoa to teach animation. She previously taught for the University of Southern California and Kauai Community College.
