George Wang
Assistant Professor



George Wang joins ACM from UNLV's film department where he served as an Assistant Professor. Prior to teaching, he enjoyed a 10-year career in advertising & media productions. He has edited, designed and/or directed hundreds of commercials, promos, billboard contents and web videos for Wynn Resorts and MGM Mirage properties. He has collaborated with national advertising agencies such as Cramer-Krasselt, Korey Kay, Schadler Kramer, and Young & Rubicam.

George's works include national and regional hotel/casino commercials, shows/concerts/sporting events promos, corporate marketing broadcast designs, and community service announcements. Additional and/or freelance works include: storyboards for Italian feature film "Killer Per Caso", campaign videos for United Way, motion graphics elements for "Billboard Music Awards" on FOX Network, video tours for Travel Channel, and Howie Mandel’s reality comedies for "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" on NBC and Bravo Network.

George is an Apple Certified Trainer for Final Cut Pro. He served as a Faculty Fellow for the National Association of Television Program Executives, and a Faculty Mentor for the American Pavilion student program at the Cannes International Film Festival. Honors include BEA Research Paper Prize, UFVA Paper Prize, BEA Festival of Media Arts Award of Excellence, ASPC Masters Communication Award, Communicator Award, and ten IABC Bronze Quill Awards. George holds an MFA degree in Film Editing from the American Film Institute.
