Sandy Stern is a highly acclaimed American film producer, best known for his work on Pump Up the Volume, Being John MalkovichSaved!, Equinox, Red HotVelvet Goldmine, Thirteen Conversations about One Thing, Freak City, and his most recent film Class Rank. Along with R.E.M.‘s lead singer Michael Stipe, he owns the film production company Single Cell. In addition, Sandy currently teaches producing at the American film Institute.
